  • The new 691-horsepower Aventador will replace today's Lamborghini Murceialago. This car's V12 engine is not only more powerful but also smaller and lighter than the Murcielago's. The Aventador weighs 200 pounds less and has a lower center of gravity. It's expected to cost about $380,000.

The FF is a new four-wheel-drive shooting brake from Ferrari. A shooting brake is like a wagon, more or less. This car will replace the outgoing Ferrari 612.

Jaguar takes the performance-oriented XKR a step further with the 550-horsepower XKR-S. At Geneva this year, Jaguar is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the famous Jaguar E-type, precursor to the XK, a car jaguar unveiled at the Geneva show in 1961.

At a cost of slightly more than $1 million, the Huayra -- named for an ancient Andean wind god -- will go on sale in the U.S. later this year. Pagani expects to sell only 15 a year in the U.S., at the most.
