Six killed, 34 other wounded in China internet cafe

  • China's state news agency said Sunday that at least six people were killed and 34 others wounded in an explosion at the Internet cafe in southwestern Guizhou Province.
    The official Xinhua news agency said the blast ripped through the cafe Saturday night in the downtown area of the Kaili City of Miao-Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Qiandongnan.
    Xinhua cited provincial officials as saying victims were pulled out of the debris and the injured rushed to hospitals.
    Police are investigating the cause of the powerful explosion.
