Open Ceremony of New Offices of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni on Tuesday presided over opening ceremony of new offices of prime minister and council of ministers.
The new buildings will strengthen the institution capacity and push up development and prosperity of the country, “King said in opening ceremony.
The office of council of ministers “friendship building” received the 32. 9 million US dollars donation from China and the building were designed by Cambodian and Chinese experts. The building represented symbolic relationship between Cambodia and China,” said Prime Minister Hun Sen in the ceremony.
Prime Minister added that for new office of Prime Minister “Peace Building” is the budget from the Cambodian government and that building used ancient Khmer architecture. The office will be used for the summit and top meeting in the country like ASEAN summit or East Asia summit.
Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia said that new office of the council of ministers will contribute the need for government and development. China considered Cambodia as good neighborhood country and confident partner for good cooperation,” ambassador.
